Dr. April Clay,

Executive Director

The Director, Dr. April Clay, is an education advocate with over 20 years of experience working with students, families and schools. As a leading consultant and service provider, she possesses extensive K-12 experience from serving as a classroom teacher and school counselor to serving as a mental health therapist on and off campus. In her clinical training, Dr. Clay has worked with at-risk and substance dependent adolescents, teens and young adults. Her leadership experience was culminated when she utilized her doctoral training to teach school counselors at a private university for eight years. Utilizing her diverse background and training, Dr. Clay provides direct services to students, conducts workshops and leads in-service trainings.

Tawon Green,

Program Director

Tawon Green is a San Bernardino native. He attended San Bernardino Valley College then transferred and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas. Tawon is a community leader who gives back through his passion for the arts, offering poetry and public speaking to inspire old and young minds. As the Program Director for Clay Counseling Foundation, he serves as a lead facilitator and trainer. When he is not leading his team or holding a microphone, Tawon spends his time coaching and mentoring college athletes. He takes great pride in helping others overcome adversity to realize their full potential.

Chanel   

Chanel has a Masters in Clinical Counseling, a Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Diversity studies. Her own multicultural upbringing and training provides her with great empathy and multicultural competency when working with her clients. Chanel's previous internships have spanned work with clients as young as toddlers and across various walks of life.

Nylah

Nylah Davis is an Academic Coach at Clay Counseling Foundation.  Nylah Davis is a recent graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas , earning a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Theatre.

Davina

My name is Davina Clay, and I am a full time student at Cal Poly Pomona, as well as training to become a financial counselor for Clay Counseling Solutions. I hope to serve my community by helping people reach their goals of financial wellness.

  Devin Clay is a 3rd year Engineering student at Cal Poly Pomona and is currently studying to be a Financial Counselor. Devin Clay is passionate about helping others and enjoy sharing my knowledge.

Parker

A. K. Parker, (they/them) is a Black, Queer, and Non-binary registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. Parker is a graduate from Loma Linda University's Masters of Science in Counseling Program, earning their degree in both School and Clinical Counseling.

Jahi

Jahi Cooper is the current Marketing Assistant at Clay Counseling Solutions. Jahi Cooper is currently a recent graduate at Hampton University and earned his degree in Business Management. Ever since he was in college, he has been involved in Marketing. From hosting party events and helping out in leadership organizations.

Gwen

Gwen Easley is a Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist with CCS. She recently received her MA in Counseling from La Sierra University and is working on her PPS in School Counseling. She enjoys supporting students, families and her community!

Dwayne Robinson is a marriage family therapist trainee and has completed his master’s degree at Cambridge College in the MFT program. Competent in assistant teenagers in dealing with various adolescent behaviors. Certified in trauma focus cognitive behavior therapy.  Teaches anger management and motivates individual to explore their gifts.

Aquirria

Aquirria Brown grew up in Adelanto California during the majority of her childhood. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology at California State University of San Bernardino. Soon after graduation Aquirria worked with children who have autism, behavioral and mental disabilities at a variety of schools and companies.
