Jackielyn D. Villanueva, MSW, ACSW- Associate Clinical Counselor

Jackie is an Associate Clinical Counselor with both Master’s and bachelor’s degree in social work. She brings a strong passion for advocacy, education, and community empowerment to her clinical work, with a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families across diverse backgrounds.

Jackie has extensive experience working with vulnerable populations, including street-involved, neglected, and abandoned children. A passionate advocate for teenage pregnancy prevention, she has led educational initiatives in schools, equipping students with knowledge about reproductive health and personal responsibility. Jackie’s involvement in family planning and parental education has further strengthened her connection with families and communities.

As a dedicated community organizer, Jackie has helped implement programs focused on health and education, working directly with families to improve access to essential services. She has also conducted outreach to individuals experiencing mental illness on the streets, providing compassionate support and referrals to mental health institutions.

In her clinical practice, Jackie works closely with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. She also enjoys supporting children, families, and couples particularly those steering relationship difficulties. Jackie’s therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy, offering clients a structured yet flexible path to healing and growth.

With additional experience in research and education, particularly in human behavior, Jackie offers a well-rounded, evidence-based approach to care. With empathetic style and being warm helps her clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward mental wellness.
