
Rayna Walters
Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee
Rayna Walters is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee currently pursuing dual Master’s degrees in Clinical Counseling (with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy) and Education (specializing in Social-Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, and Movement-based Interventions). She works under clinical supervision while gaining experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life transitions, relational challenges, and emotional stressors.
Rayna brings a strengths-based, culturally responsive approach to therapy, informed by her academic background in psychology and human services. Her training includes evidence-based modalities such as Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, along with mindfulness-informed strategies to help clients build emotional resilience and self-awareness.
Rayna has a special interest in supporting communities impacted by chronic illness, grief, and identity exploration. She is passionate about providing affirming care for underserved populations and continues to cultivate clinical skills that honor each client’s lived experience.
In addition to her clinical training, Rayna is a caregiver and active member of the academic honor societies Alpha Chi and Psi Chi. She is committed to lifelong learning and to promoting compassionate, collaborative, and ethically grounded care.
